Hospitality in our home in the face of COVID-19



As I write this letter I hope to find you and your family healthy and safe. I want you to feel confident I am committed to your safe stay with us and look forward to you coming to our home.  Our guests were booking their vacations with us far in advance of what they had in previous years, and all signs are pointed toward continued growth through 2020 and beyond.

In light of our current challenging situation I wanted to contact you with some assurances and commitments we’ve made to you and your family’s safety while staying with us. 

We have made new expectations about vacation rental cleaning standards. I want to share our procedures and seriousness we have taken in our changeover process and list of cleaning procedures to give you peace of mind.  This has been discussed with our cleaning staff and I want to ensure you we are taking all precautions and following CDC Guidelines for cleaning and disinfecting all areas of our home.
1.     We are using disinfectants as prescribed by the CDC labeling.  Our products have at least 70% Alcohol, Hydrogen peroxide, and or a bleach and water mixture.

2.     All Hard surfaces including High-touch surfaces are cleaned and disinfected, common high-touch surfaces include: Cabinets, Door handles, Doorknobs, tables, chairs, handrails, kitchen and bathroom surfaces, faucets, toilets, light switches, and remote controls.

3.     All soft (porous) surfaces such as bedding, pillows, furniture, carpeted floors, rugs, and drapes, remove visible contamination if present and clean with appropriate cleaners indicated for use on these surfaces as recommended with CDC guidelines.

4.     We will also have a supply of cleaning supplies and wipes so you are more comfortable about your personal care while staying with us.
I have discussed this in detail with our cleaning staff and want to ensure you that we are taking all precautions and are following CDC guidelines of cleaning NS disinfecting of all areas in our home.
